This book teach us how to make sense out of the data which surround us. We find a good introduction to Web scraping, e.i. the ability to extract the data from websites, and to data visualization basics.

The most valuable take away, of course is my opinion, of this book is: dont get stick to only softwares or scripting when the aim is to realize meaningful and awesome visualizations. Instead Nathan offers different examples where combining R or Python for web scraping, data formatting and first plot sketch with softwares such as Illustrator or Inkscape can really produce beautiful works efficiently.
